It didn't become clear to me what I wanted to do until I got to high-school. Kids have ambitious dreams; Pilots, astronauts and fire-fighters are the dreams of many. I always wanted to do something creative, something hands on, but I never quite knew what form of a job it took on.

Sifting through the book of potential career choices, at the ripe age of 16 and being told to decide the next 5 years of my life was a daunting task. Coming across the design pages was an exciting prospect for me because it actualised an area I could see myself in.

University only served to reinforce this belief. That I could earn money doing something I love. Yeah, it's tough. Yeah, clients come with every kind of brief imaginable, but it sure does beat scanning food products as a checkout assistant at the supermarket, or filing documents for a book keeper. It's something ever-changing, trends to follow, details to meticulously arrange. Something to love.
